Restaurant website design and promotion, with a menu, reservations and ordering

Where to go tonight gets decided in a couple of minutes, on a phone: menu and prices, photos of the room, is there a table for eight. A restaurant website conveys the atmosphere without getting in the way of the main thing: booking a table or placing an order.

Must-haves

What the website needs

01

A menu in text, not a PDF

Sections, prices and dish photos right on the page. A PDF is a pain to scroll on a phone, and search engines can't see what's on your menu.

02

Reservations without a phone call

Date, time, party size, dining room or terrace. The request goes straight to the host, and guests don't have to keep calling at peak hour.

03

Rooms and occasions

Photos of the dining room, terrace and banquet areas, plus a hint on where a birthday works best and where to hold a business lunch. Banquets get their own request with the number of guests.

04

Events and offers by day

Live music, business lunch, wine nights. Past events fade out on their own, and a countdown offer disappears once it ends, so the site never looks forgotten.

05

Ordering in a couple of taps

For delivery: items with prices and an order builder. The guest ticks what they want, and the finished text goes to WhatsApp or Telegram. For hookah lounges, an age check at the entrance.

06

Address, hours and directions

Opening hours, an “open now” status, the address and directions to the door. Everything matches your Google Business Profile down to the last comma.

The scene

The kitchen fires up on the first screen

Restaurants have what other industries don't: fire, flavor, the view from the window. In our projects the first screen is built around one such image: the coals in a charcoal oven flare up while the guest holds a button, and dishes appear on the grill; the dining room sinks under water, leaving a laid table; hookah smoke forms the silhouette of a city at night. The video or interactive piece lasts seconds, and right after it come the menu and booking.

What's included

What's included in a restaurant website

First we sort out the format: a restaurant with a dining room and reservations, an everyday café, delivery, or all of these at once. That decides what leads on the first screen: booking, the menu or ordering. Menu, prices and dish photos come from your materials and your Google Business Profile; we write the copy ourselves.

Next comes the homepage concept, free and before payment. The first-screen scene is a video or an interactive piece, with a separate vertical version for phones. Reservation, banquet and order requests arrive in Telegram or by email.

  • Format review: dining room, delivery, banquets, catering
  • Homepage concept before payment
  • Menu by section with prices and photos
  • Table reservations and banquet requests
  • Ordering via messenger or a cart with online payment
  • First-screen video or interactive piece with a phone version

Landing page or multi-page website for a restaurant

A single restaurant or café usually needs one rich page: atmosphere, menu, rooms, events, booking and a map. Guests don't browse sections; they scroll down and book. Most of our restaurant projects are built this way.

A multi-page website makes sense when there are several lines of business: dining room, delivery, catering, off-site service, each with its own guests and its own searches. If delivery brings in most of the revenue and the menu is long, you need an online store: catalog, cart, and online payment or ordering via messenger.

Marketing

Promoting a restaurant in Google and on Google Maps

Restaurants are found on the map more than anywhere else: “dinner near me”, “restaurant with a terrace”, “business lunch nearby”. People choose by photos, ratings and how the place responds to guests, so we manage your Google Business Profile every month: menu with prices, photos of dishes and the room, posts about events and offers, replies to reviews.

The website works for searches where details matter: a banquet hall in your area, hookah delivery, the cuisine of a particular country. SEO + GEO moves those pages up in Google and makes sure the AI assistants people ask “where should we go” know about you. For that, your menu, hours and address have to match on the website, on Google Maps and on listing sites.

Questions

Questions about restaurants and delivery

How much does a restaurant or delivery website cost?

A one-page restaurant website starts at $290, a multi-page one at $490, a delivery website with a cart and payment at $690. The total depends on the menu, the first-screen scene and how ordering works; we give the exact price after the review, before you pay.

Our menu changes often. Will updates be a hassle?

We discuss this during the review and build the menu so that new dishes and prices can be added without rebuilding the page.

Can we take orders without online payment?

Yes. The guest builds an order on the site, and it arrives as a ready message in WhatsApp or Telegram; that's how our websites for a pastry chef and a hookah delivery service work. We connect online payment when it's really needed.

Why our own website if we're on delivery apps?

A delivery app brings orders, but the guest stays its customer, not yours. On your own site people see the whole menu, book a table and order directly, and you can link to the site from Google Maps and social media.
